Helen of Troy was said to have been the most beautiful woman in the world.
The usual tradition is that she was seduced by Paris and carried off to Troy. A less known story is that at one time she had 30 suiters chasing her for her heart. Today this would be like 3 Billion Instagram followers and no Facetune.
How can you chose between 30 handsome, strong young men? Helen pondered for a long moment and swiped right on King Menelaus of Sparta. A match!

Apparently our Helen possessed a large star sapphire which was believed to hold the key to her desirability. Kaboom! Don't waste your money on those Prada shoes.
September's birthstone is Sapphire so I'm sure there would be plenty to chose from. I'll post some photos.
